It’s
time for us to get ready for this year’s “Crafters For Critters” Holiday Craft
Fair, which will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2003 from 9:00
a.m. ‘til 3:00 p.m. The fair will be
held at the Holy Trinity Church, High Street in Somersworth, New Hampshire,
just beyond Wal-Mart. We will have
several early bird volunteers to help you unload and bring your crafts to your
table if needed. There will be coffee, pastries, and lunch available for everyone.
The fair benefits 2000 homeless animals annually
at Cocheco Valley Humane Society in Dover, New Hampshire. Table rental fees, raffle, and concession
sales go directly to animal care, providing shelter, nutritious meals,
comfortable beds, and veterinary attention as they await adoption into new
homes.
Spaces at the fair accommodate up to an 8-foot
long X 3-foot wide table. We do have a
number of spaces and tables.
In an effort to keep the fair interesting and
diverse, we will be limiting the number of exhibitors per craft type to help
assure a profitable day for you.
The cost per space is $50 including electricity
if needed, so please indicate on the application if you need it and remember to
bring along an extension cord. Please
also remember your table covers, and plan to decorate your space in your own
festive style!
Doors will open for set-up just prior to 7:00
a.m. on November 29, and we request that you remain set-up until 3:00 p.m. We will do our best to honor any special
requests, but cannot guarantee a specific spot.
To ensure a high quality fair, we request that
no manufactured or flea market items be sold.
Due to the nature of the charity, we also request that you sell crafts
made with faux fur and imitations instead of genuine fur, bird feathers, or
animal bone. Since there will be a concession stand, we ask that there be no
concession tables.
To exhibit
with us this year, please mail the attached application along with payment to
Angela Elliott address listed below. If
we do not hear from you, we will assume you will not be attending, however, we
will keep your information on our mailing list. See you at the fair!
