Creature Comforts Dessert & Coffee Tasting on February 23rdPosted Saturday, January 18, 2003 by cvhsOn Sunday afternoon, February 23, The Governor's Inn of Rochester will host the Sixth Annual Creature Comforts dessert and coffee tasting. Spend the hours from 2:00pm to 4:00pm sampling delicious treats while enjoying musical guests Anderson-Gram. Proceeds from the day will benefit the homeless animals of the Cocheco Valley Humane Society.
Indulge all your senses, savoring yummy desserts and aromatic coffees, all the while knowing that you're helping CVHS further its mission - to make possible a better world for all animals by providing shelter, educating the community about humane care and treatment, advocating animal welfare and promoting the human-animal bond.
Local husband-wife duo Anderson-Gram been described as a blend of "Kate Wolf and Jim Croce, with a Paul Simon-like guitar style, blending beautifully to form a truly peaceful sound." Dick Cerri, president of the World Folk Music Association says, "Just think of a cool, refreshing, New England breeze and that is Anderson-Gram."
