Pedals for Paws

 

Join us on Saturday, August 22nd at Great Bay Community College, located at Pease Tradeport, for Pedals for Paws, a charity bicycle ride and adoption event. Cocheco Valley Humane Society is honored to be the recipient of the profits raised from this event. Animals from CVHS and other shelters will be on hand at the event for meet and greets for a portion of the day.

 

Registration will begin at 7:30am and the ride will start at 8:30am. The registration fee will be $35 for single riders and $50 for a team or family of up to 5 riders. There is no additional donation required but any amount is gladly appreciated. An event t-shirt and goody bag will be given to all the riders and t-shirts will be available for purchase for non-riders.

 

The event will offer two route options. The first route is from the Tradeport to Henry Law Park in Dover and back (23.5 miles) and the second route will ride to CVHS and back. This route is 38.1 miles round trip. Arrangements can also be made to be picked up at the shelter. Both routes stop at Henry Law Park.

 

When riders arrive back at the Tradeport, there will be door prizes, raffles, and a huge thank you to our sponsors. There will also be plenty of time to meet our four legged friends.

 

This event is sponsored by the three unions at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. This is a family friendly event and is open to riders of all ages and abilities.
